About Us
For over 50 years, the Michigan Treasure Hunters club has been active in and around Southeast Michigan. Headquartered in Livonia, it is one of the largest in-person clubs of its kind in the United States. Whether you're a seasoned detecting pro, or a relative newbie to the hobby, we invite you to join us at one of our monthly meetings for fun and friendship. Membership to our club comes with many annual "perks", such as private and club-sponsored hunts, give-aways and the ability to interact with over 1000 years of collective metal detecting experience from our current members.

CLUB DONATIONS
If you would like to make a donation to the club for us to use on future hunts and prizes for our members, please click the donate button. Everything donated goes directly to the benefit of our entire membership.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
Renewal costs (with an emailed Prober newsletter) are $30; $45 if you would like the Prober newsletter mailed to you via USPS rather than emailed.
Renewal dues can be paid via check or money order and mailed to: Michigan Treasure Hunters, P.O. Box 510237, Livonia, MI 48151, or paid at any upcoming membership meeting.
Renewal dues can also be paid via paypal by clicking the appropriate renewal button at the bottom of the website.

JANUARY 27, 2026 CLUB MEETING
In January, please join us for our first member meeting of the year. We will be having our annual potluck. Please bring a favorite dish that serves around 10-12 people. The club will be providing chicken as a main dish.
We will have our Find of the Year awarded, so make sure you bring in your 1st place finds from 2025 so the best of the best can be voted upon. We will also be annointing our Club Officers and new Board of Directors for 2026.

FEBRUARY 24, 2026 CLUB MEETING
Cold weather equals comfort food. Come join us for our February meeting and you will be amazed at the variety of flavors during our annual chili cook-off!
Dust off that favorite recipe and bring in a crock pot of chili to share with the club. You may just walk away with the top chili award. Participation prizes awarded as well.
Our find of the month picks back up this month as well. Be ready to show off your amazing finds since November 2025 and hopefully you'll walk away with a top 3 finish!

In March, we're targeting a few options for a Speaker to talk to the club about history, treasure or similar topics.

APRIL 28, 2026 CLUB MEETING
Our annual Open House highlights our April meeting. Please bring in your displays or demonstrations for other members and guests to enjoy. Prizes awarded via raffle to those who bring in something of theirs that they found or can demonstrate to the club.

MARCH/APRIL 2026 - TOKEN HUNT
SPRING 2026! When the crappy cold weather leaves Michigan, we are going to be warming up for the first Token Hunt of the year. Location and date to be announced soon. Paid members to the MTH club can participate in this monthly event. With silver being so high in value right now, the club will likely have to adjust quantity of targets and cost of participation. The Board of Directors will be deciding these topics in their early 2026 sessions. Stay tuned.
